(Grades 1–3)

The Lower Elementary program is designed for children in Grades 1 through 3 who are entering a new stage of intellectual curiosity and imagination. At this age, children are eager to explore big ideas and make meaningful connections across subjects.

In the Montessori environment, students build strong academic foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics while also engaging deeply with history, geography, science, and the arts. Learning happens through hands-on materials, independent research, and collaborative projects, encouraging both creativity and critical thinking.

Equally important, children in Lower Elementary practice responsibility, respect, and cooperation within their classroom community. They learn to manage their time, make choices about their work, and collaborate with peers, building independence and self-confidence. By the end of the three-year cycle, students are equipped with strong academic skills and the habits of mind that prepare them for Upper Elementary.
